Very nicely described and pretty much appropriate on all the aspects. Even though I M an indian, and have travelled in trains si many times, still I need to be very cautious and prepared before I travel in train.
To add few more points :
1. Recently the food quality in the trains (both from train pantry car & outside) has degraded a lot. Better to carry your own food and water from home.
2. Better not to encourage fellow passengers by being too nice. Our people (most of them) might bug you for selfies and requests for phone no etc and write all your biigraphy.
3. Beware of pick pockets and bag theft from the train. I have seen them happening now & then.

I read about The Travel Hack hybrid bag and bought it because it was described as ok for EasyJet underseat storage. It’s a great design but I’ve since noticed that it some reviews say it doesn’t actually fit the checker (wheels and retracted handle etc mean it measures more than 45cm). Have you tried it on EasyJet yourself? I’m not sure whether to risk it or buy something else. CabinMax query service didn’t answer the question directly but did offer alternatives- which was a bit confusing!

We found purple parking meet at LGW north and greet a very long walk with heavy cases (we are pensioners). The people were not very helpful. When we returned home, we found the radio stations had all been changed plus all mirrors moved. Why did they even need the radio? Several years prior to this, the m&g was literally that, they met you outside the airport, you took your luggage and they took the car to car park. It worked amazingly well.
Pulling the cases has left our poor joints very sore. We won’t use them again.

Thank you so much for your tips. My hubby and I will be in Santorini in July for my special birthday cruise and we were hoping to stop in Kira as well as Ola since we dock pretty early and then heading back down to the marina to board our sunset catamaran cruise. Being a former airline employee, I reached out to my former coworkers for gave me some tips as well.

If I had to skip one of the towns, since we are trying to do the sunset cruise on the same day, which one would you recommend we do?

Hey! Love this blog post! So helpful to hear the long term progression!
I’m so curious about use on the upper lip.
I don’t have much… but some noticeable hairs.
Did you shave your upper lip before using it?
I’m so nervous to shave there!
